Lane Tech Students Unveil 'Sir Lifts a Lot' Robot (VIDEO)
Participants of a Lane Tech College Prep robotics team showed off their latest invention last week.
Lane Tech's robotics team shared the product last week of more than 150 hours of hard work, critical thinking and innovation.
The result? "Sir Lifts a Lot" — a robot featured in the above video that will face off in the FIRST Midwest Regional Competition at the UIC Pavillion, 525 W. Racine St. FIRST is a nonprofit organization devoted to helping young people discover and develop a passion for science, engineering, technology and math.
The Lane Tech team, X-Machina, includes students, teachers and community mentors who recognize the criteria's significance.
