Donna Fishman of Chicago Named Co-President of Social Justice Organization

Donna Gutman of Chicago will be installed as Co-President of National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) Chicago North Shore Section at their Installation and Awards Luncheon on Monday, June 23rd at Di Pescara Restaurant in Northbrook.

Over the last 25 years, Ms. Gutman, a Life Member of NCJW Chicago North Shore, has served as Section President, Fundraising Chair, and volunteer on a variety of committees.  Ms. Gutman has also served on the national board of NCJW for the past three years, chairing the Women to Women Empowerment Initiative in Israel, the Israel Granting Program, and co-chairing a Mission to Israel in 2009.

Recently, Ms. Gutman was appointed as Vice President of the International Council of Jewish Women (ICJW), representing the United States.  The ICJW’s platform calls for advocacy and action: ending discrimination against women in all spheres of life, combating anti-Semitism and all forms of religious discrimination, and raising a collective voice against the trafficking of women.
