Tickets on Sale for Midnight Circus at Hamlin Park

The annual event is back, this time with shows starting on Friday night.

The big top tent is already making its way back to North Center as organizers count down the days to watch the Midnight Circus at Hamlin Park.

This year the festivities start Friday, Sept. 13 as entertainers hit the circus ring now for three nights in a row. They’ll perform five shows through Sept. 15

The activities are part of a citywide “Night Out in the Parks” initiative, Mayor Rahm Emanuel announced May 14. More than 750 concerts, movies and festivals are available citywide.

“From Movies in the Park to Music Festivals, residents will be able to check out the best of what Chicago has to offer right in their own backyard,” Emanuel said in a news release. “We have increased the summer arts programming to more than 750 unique events in the city’s neighborhood parks, helping to ensure that Chicagoans across the City have access to these cultural experiences.”

Tickets for Hamlin Park’s circus run $20 for adults, $15 for children 2-18 and free for children under 2-years-old. Deals can also be made for tickets bought in a bulk of 20 or more.
