Cornea Surgeon Dr. Charles Bouchard, Author Sherrill Bodine to be Honored at Illinois Eye-Bank's Annual Gift of Sight Gala June 19

One of Chicago’s leading corneal surgeons and a noted local author are the honorees at the Illinois Eye-Bank’s 16th Annual Gift of Sight Gala, “A New Chapter.” The event will raise funds to benefit the Illinois Eye-Bank on Thursday, June 29, 2014 at 6 p.m. at the Peninsula Chicago. 

 

These two visionary Chicagoans will be honored at the gala for their commitment to Illinois Eye-Bank’s efforts and mission.  Dr. Charles Bouchard is a leader in the field of corneal transplants and Chairman of Ophthalmology at Loyola University of Chicago Stritch School of Medicine.  Sherrill Bodine is an author, a leading Chicago philanthropist and long-term supporter of the Illinois Eye-Bank.

Guests will enjoy a night of dinner, music and an exclusive Silent Auction all while enjoying great city views from the Shanghai terrace. The event  is co-hosted by David Donnersberg, M.D. and Eileen Howard-Weinberg, along with their dynamic committee.
